Norman & Jules' brick and mortar and e-commerce site needed to work in harmony with each other. Working closely with the owners in Brooklyn, NY and our team of developers, we focused on creating a seamless user experience, much like their store.
We kept true to the company's color scheme, type treatments, and aesthetic, to provide a seamless transition into the new experience. We brought a refresh to their logo, UI components, and iconography in a way that would speak to their customers.
Norman & Jules' online customers wanted a consistent and easily-navigable shopping experience. Their leading UX road block took place when trying to find a specific product on the site. Our focus was the product flow, where we paid close attention to the site navigation and search functionality.
We identified two main customer types:
1. Customers who are decisive and know exactly what they want to buy
We gave these customers a search function and new navigation menu to explore the different categories within Norman & Jules.
2. Customers who want to browse
We created popular, featured, and Instagram content blocks for customers to explore and get recommendations.
